Referees are a vital part of the lacrosse experience and each year we need new referees to make sure the games are conducted safely and respectfully.  Please consider joining our group of qualified referees, and be the ref you always wished you had when you played lacrosse.

Referee training classes are held each year and attendance is limited.

J1

J1 is for referees that wish to referee 3-4, 5-6 and 7-8 grade games. Parents and coaches typically referee the 1-2 level.  The 3-4 level is frequently staffed with new referees paired with more experienced referees.  Onsite training is mandatory and you must pass the J1 test.

J2

Even more advanced, J2 is for referees with more than 1 year of officiating that have demonstrated leadership while officiating.  Registration as an J2 candidate requires a coach/assignor recommendation. Onsite training is mandatory and you must pass the J2 test.
